Euro Symbol Details

The Euro Symbol is available in the latest version of firmware for most Zebra ZPL printers using the ^CI command to redirect the $ character mapping. Here is the example you can use.

^XA
^CI0,21,36 (redirects the $ decimal 36 to the euro character decimal 21)
^FO100,200^A0N,50,50^FD$0123^FS
^XZ

Introduced in version x.8.1, the printer firmware incorporates the Euro symbol as a permanent resident character at hex location 15H. (You can use the above example or the ^FH -Field Hex feature to pass the hex "15" to the printer.) See the ZPL manual for details.

Here's an example of using ZPL to print the Euro Symbol using the ^FH method:

^XA
^FO10,10^A0,40,40^FH_^FDEuro Symbol _15^FS
^XZ
